About 11+ Daily

About 11+ Daily

What is 11+ Daily?
11+ Daily is a daily 11+ practice app for web, iPad, iPhone and Android that opens to a Today screen telling your child exactly what to do: one subject, one focused short session, chosen for what they actually need. Parents see real progress in the background. The trial is 14 days, no card needed.
Who is 11+ Daily for?
UK parents preparing a child (typically Year 4 or Year 5) for the 11+ exam, who want consistent daily practice, are not satisfied with books alone, want visibility into what is being practised, and value structure over volume. It works whether your child has a year to go or only a few weeks.
Daily practice and how it works

Daily practice and how it works

How long is a typical daily session?
Roughly seven to ten minutes. The product is designed to make a short focused session the realistic everyday case, not a weekend-warrior 90-minute block. Daily seven-minute sessions over nine months beat weekly hour-long blocks every time.
What is the Today screen?
The Today screen is the home of the 11+ Daily app. Every time your child opens the app, it picks the next session: one subject, one specific skill within it, one short session. The reason the session was chosen is visible to the child.
Does the app use spaced repetition?
Yes, in two different ways depending on the question type. Vocabulary and spelling use SM-2 spaced repetition, because they are factual recall. Maths, Verbal Reasoning and the multiple-choice English types use a two-bucket retry: a wrong answer comes back the next session and continues until correct, then retires. The 11+ tests skills, and re-asking the same multiple-choice question five days later teaches the answer to that question, not the skill.
Can children build a quick timed test?
Yes. Quick Test lets parents or children pick subjects and skills, set a length, add a timer, or limit to bookmarked items. It is short targeted practice, not a full mock paper.
Subjects and exam boards

Subjects and exam boards

Which subjects does 11+ Daily cover?
English (vocabulary, spelling, grammar cloze, sentence error spotting, antonyms, synonyms, punctuation), Maths (KS2 aligned across number, fractions, ratio, algebra, measurement, geometry, statistics, with easy, medium and hard tiers), Verbal Reasoning (the GL-style question types) and Non-Verbal Reasoning (all the standard NVR question types).
Do you cover Non-Verbal Reasoning?
Yes. 11+ Daily covers all the standard NVR question types in the live library, with more added regularly. English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning are all part of the daily session pool.
Is it for the GL exam, the ISEB exam, or CEM?
It covers the English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning material tested by GL Assessment and ISEB, including the sentence-error chunking format used in GL papers. CEM was wound down from 11+ in 2023, so we do not claim CEM coverage. Questions are tagged by skill and topic, not stamped per-question by exam board.
Does it cover the new FSCE format for Gloucestershire?
The KS2 Maths and isolated-sentence English practice should remain useful for Gloucestershire families because FSCE is also KS2 aligned. We are tracking the FSCE specification and will add FSCE-specific content as full sample papers are published.
For parents

For parents

How does the parent dashboard work?
Same login as the child, separate view. You see days studied across recent weeks, coverage across skill areas, per-subject and per-project accuracy, and where your child has repeatedly struggled once enough data exists to be honest about it. In the early weeks, coverage is the parent-credible metric. Weak-spot specificity comes later.
Are there ads or third-party tracking on a child account?
No ads, ever. No third-party advertising tracking. The app stores only what is needed to run practice, track progress and sync between devices.
Is the data my child generates private?
Yes. Practice data, accuracy and progress are tied to your account and used to power the app for your family. We do not sell or share child data with third parties. See our privacy policy for the full detail.
How 11+ Daily compares

How 11+ Daily compares

How is 11+ Daily different from Atom Learning?
Atom Learning is a comprehensive paid 11+ platform with a strong school-tier presence and a premium subscription. 11+ Daily is a focused daily-practice app at roughly a third of the cost, built around short weeknight sessions with a Today screen that picks the next session. For most UK families preparing at home, 11+ Daily is the better starting point. See our full Atom Learning comparison post for detail.
How is 11+ Daily different from Bond books?
Bond workbooks are excellent for focused weekend sessions and full mock papers. 11+ Daily is built for the daily habit that workbooks struggle with: short, frequent sessions with automatic targeting, instant marking and a parent dashboard. The strongest setup for most families is 11+ Daily plus a small Bond selection for monthly mock papers closer to the exam.
Should I use 11+ Daily or hire a tutor?
They serve different purposes. A tutor is most valuable for a child who has a specific concept they keep getting stuck on, or who benefits from one-to-one accountability for an hour a week. 11+ Daily is the daily practice between tutor sessions, the consistent scaffold no tutor can be. Many families use both.

How much does it cost?
From £8.25 a month, billed annually. £99 a year (saves over £20 compared with paying monthly), or £9.99 a month. One plan, every feature unlocked from day one.

Yes. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Devices and accounts

Devices and accounts

Is there an iPad app?
Yes. 11+ Daily is built for iPad as well as iPhone, not a phone app with extra margin on tablet. The Today screen lays out in a two-column band, the category grid is two-up, and the layout adapts in portrait and landscape. Many 11+-age children already do their homework on an iPad, so a tablet-native layout matters.
Which platforms does it run on?
Web, iPad, iPhone and Android. One account, synced progress on every platform. Start the morning on the iPad over breakfast, pick up on the laptop at homework time.
Do I need to download an app, or can my child use it in a browser?
Both work. The web version is fully featured and runs in any modern browser. The iPad, iPhone and Android apps are the same product with native gestures and the tablet-adapted layout on iPad, and all share one account.
What 11+ Daily deliberately does not do

What 11+ Daily deliberately does not do

Do you have full mock papers or timed exam simulation?
No. Quick Test can be timed for short targeted practice, but full timed mock papers are not the product. We are a daily revision habit, not an exam simulator. Most families pair us with a Bond mock paper book once a month from around March of Year 5.
Are there leaderboards or social features?
No. This is a children's exam-prep app, not a social product. There are no friend lists, no rankings, no shared scores.
Are any questions AI-generated?
No. Every question is human-authored.

Still have a question?

The fastest way to get a real answer is to start the free trial and see the app in action. No card needed, the full app is unlocked from day one.
